Keystone College
Penn State (Wilkes-Barre *and* Worthington campuses are within 90 minutes)
Northhampton is the only one that doesn't fit; it's just under 2 hours away from Honesdale. (Unless you want to list the Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton colleges... of which there are many).

OK what does she want to study? Would she ever go away? Not far but is you have a lot of kids and are not a millionaire there is a lot of money out there, If she lines on campus you also save on a car and insurance - they really get the full college experience IMO But not too far from you there is also Johnson,Keystone and Bible Baptist. I believe that they all award associate degrees as well as bachelor degrees. There is also Eastern College - check out the doctrinal statement you will be fine with it. Very good school for college students involved and active in the Christian faith.

Keystone is a fully accredited 2 and 4 year degree granting institution. it is private and not-for -profit.
Students there seem to get quite a bit of personal attention. Grades need not be stellar to gain admission.
I believe there are a few residence hallls.

Can't go out of state and she does want to commute for at least the first year.
I am unsure of Keystone and what does a "non-profit" granting institution mean? Is it a respected school? I know some would downgrade community schools, but we are open and seeing that as an affordable option.
Even with $15K worth of scholarships, we would still need to come up with close to $8K EVERY year---that is so out of our price range. We are VERY committed to avoiding school loan debts at just about any cost and so most private school in which you room are either out of our price range or the atmosphere is less than desirable.
She is looking to major in graphic deisgn with an emphasis on lay out and desgin in the fashion industry.
