I am a native of Pittston Twp. (Butler Heights area), and I used to go pretty regularly. It was a pretty decent fair, but it was nothing special in my eyes. I just felt compelled to attend because it helped to support our volunteer fire department.

Have not gone in a few years it is great but the pricing should be better for older people and ones that don't have kids. If you just want to go walk around eat and have a beer or drink and not ride rides the price is a bit high $4.00 maybe but $8.00 I can go to some happy hour and eat real well for that or not much more. I do donate to the Fire and Ambulance every year.

I went today with a couple of friends. I enjoyed the fair. We got there at about 2pm. There was alot of traffic on the way because of construction, if I'd known I would of passed up the fair. I thought I was back in NYC, lol.

The ticket price is 8 bucks and I thought that was reasonable. We walked around and had something to eat then we went and see a show by Buffo the clown. I totally enjoyed it!!! Even though I dont have any kids I like the act and my friends enjoyed it too. We didnt go on any rides but we did go to the petting zoo, which was included in the price of the entry.

All in all it was a nice fair. Would I go again? Maybe. Would I reccommend it? Yes. Its nice for a family because of the rides and games.
