Hey again everyone!
I am back from my trip to NEPA to look for a home for next year, and I am crazy about I house I saw in W. Hazleton. The only thing still giving me pause is that I have to arrange for my own lawn mowing and snow removal, and I have no idea how much that would cost me.
The yard is fairly small - absolutely less than a half acre and probably much less than that. In terms of snow removal, I wouldn't have a sidewalk to clear, and the street out front is done by the town. The only thing I would need done is the driveway, which is about a car-and-a-half wide and 2 cars long.
My alternative housing option is a ranch-style apartment where the lawn care is included. The price on the apartment is actually $100/month more than the house, so if I could get the mowing and snow removal for an average of $100/month, it would basically break even.
So basically my questions are, how much could I expect to spend over the course of a year (September to September), and does anyone have a recommendation for a good company or person?
Thanks so much for all of your help. NEPA, here I come!!
