Default Fenced off area near Williamsport

Google Maps

41.321084,-77.236726

Someone told me about this place. It's fenced off with razor wire and they saw cameras. Its on route 287, north of Williamsport.

Off to the right of the marker you can see fence lines in the trees and make out some roads.

Any locals have any info on this mysterious off limits place?

Is it Centralia?

The town was condemned due to a mine fire burning, making the area unstable and unsafe.

Thats what I thought at 1st, but razor wire and video cameras? Plus the satellite images look odd. I was hoping some locals could chime in and enlighten us on what is going on at this place.

You'd probably have better luck with your question on the regular "Pennsylvania" forum. I don't think there are many posters from Williamsport on the NEPA forum. Williamsport is to far west of here to be considered Northeast Pa.
