Thanks Summering!

Has anyone done the trail ride at Saddle Valley? Is it a good one?

Quiet Valley Farm sounds like a fun day too. Will have to check that out as well!

Just wanted to add on to Summering's great list a Scranton happening, St. Joseph's Festival @ Marywood. This event supports St. Joseph's Rehabilation...great cause and fun to!

AtHomeInThePoconos is on a distinguished road
Thanks, Summering! The Chestnuthill Park is also playing a family movie on Saturday, the 25th: Hotel for Dogs, or something to that effect? There's a sign at the park entrance.

Thats right I saw that sign.......Great idea if the little fellows were here tonight.

I went to the Craft and flea market ( Stroudsburg) today and saw many beautiful things. It was a bit smaller then expected but I just loved the guy who had the "real" roman coins made into necklaces, and beautiful stone broaches. Gorgeous pieces.

Then we headed down to the Christmas in July in Plainsfield at the fire company. That was nice too.
Lots of crafty things.

After that we did some garage sales in Wind Gap.
What was most moving of the day is that I met a lady who's husband was in the first tower on 9/11...He had been up on the 70 something floor.......He came down after the building jarred.
They moved this way after that, and she was from NJ like I have transplanted from.
Her husband had to be dug out from the debris but he is ok and I just had to shake her hand and tell her I was so glad she told me her story ( or I'm sure it was his story)
I have read every book on the carnage.......but to stand there with someone who lived it moved me.
