help...needtomove is on a distinguished road
Default Looking for a place to live in the Scranton area

My husband just accepted a position within his company that will have us move from Buffalo to Scranton. We are looking for a place to rent in the beginning until we can sell our house in Buffalo and decide where to permanently settle down. I am open to any and all help in pointing me in the right direction to any apts, townhouses, condos or homes. We have visited a few times and like the area but know we have missed alot of nice areas just from reading the differnet posts. We are looking for an area that is close to shopping, coffeehouses, etc., but do not need to be within walking distance.
The problem I am finding is I have 2 pugs and alot of places do not allow dogs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

From what I an see, the places that do allow dogs usually limit it to one dog under a certain weight, like 20 lbs. Perhaps a private home rental would be more successful. Pehaps putting an ad in the Scranton Times for rental home or apartment wanted, allowing 2 dogs would help you. Good Luck!
