I would love to go if I could get in cheaper. I don't ride any rides at all and hate the fact that I have to pay the full price just to go in and walk around and buy small portions of overpriced unhealthy food....but dang, a funnel cake sounds mighty good right now!

Sounds like you need a different agent. Or, simply sell it yourself!
I like going to Knoebels because I can still spend my money on the food & trinkets without having to pay for rides that I can not enjoy because they make me ill. There is no reason why there can not be two tickets to the fair - one for riding all the rides (with a certain bracelet) and one for just entering the fair (with a different bracelet.) Not really that difficult.

Real estate market is bad, but if you cannot scratch up $8.00 for Wayne County Fair Ticket for rides and parking, I believe it might be time to re-think your vocation(JOB)! Just my 2 cents minus $7.98 Toodaloo!

Guess what, this thread isn't about attacking me. I can well afford to go to the fair if I want to do so...where did I say I couldn't afford it? (Jumping to conclusions is NOT good exercise!) I clearly stated I don't want to spend money on something I would not be using. The value is not there for me.

Karen: I understand your point of view. I pretty much feel the same way. I enjoy the fairs but do not care to pay for the ries since I'm not going on them.
