This past Sunday I was up at the Goldsboro State Park. Wow, it is an awesome place.......and I had forgotten how wonderfully charming it is. You know what? The temperatures down at the West End were 78 and the temps up in the Moscow area was 68! But, still a few were in the water, picnics were going on and the boaters were on the lake. A very peaceful place....not far from many of us.
Here is some joy for you!!

Just a few taken from the car.........I wish I had a picnic lunch along.

No, it was Goldsboro........We took a Sunday drive up that way. I haven't been up into Promised Land for ages. It would have been before that storm came and tumbled all the trees down. My Moms house after that storm was also surrounded by downed trees.

Thanx for the great pics...I remember going there when I was young and a neighbor took me; because our family did not have a car.
