Default Expresso Restaurant - Pittston / Wilkes-Barre

Does anyone have any information about the Expresso Restaurant that was near the bridge in Pittston / Wilkes-Barre. I know the place closed but did they ever open at another location or under a different name. They had some of the best food in the valley. Any news would be appreciated.

I grew up in Jenkins Township (Inkerman) until age 9, and my family ate here a few times a year. The food was great! I know the place closed and DID reopen under a different name, but I don't know if it's still open or not.

There's not a lot of Greater Pittston members on this forum. 48,000 people---apparently 3 have computers.

Yes.

It re-opened as "The Port Blanchard Sunrise Restaurant." Not sure if it's still open.

Thanks for the info but that's the actaul building. I'm looking for the folks, and the great food, from the old Expresso. Did they ever open another place or do they provide their food, especially the meat ravioli, to any other eateries in the area. Thanks for the response!

Since apparently none of the posters here know the answer to your question, why don't you try speaking to the manager/owner of the place that took it's place......perhaps he/she knows what became of the former restaurant?
