Default Skiing Near The Hideout
Just wondering the closest ski mountain near the Hideout?I know the Hideout has its own ski hill,but we want something a little more..
We are considering buying a Vacation home in the Hideout..

Tanglewood is near enough. Also Big Bear which is a really good ski area. Montage too.

Big Bear is going to be about 40 - 45 minutes from The Hideout, depending on traffic/road conditions. Montage would probably be closer.

This is on Montage Mountain. I dont ski so I cannot give you any details but its not far about 30-40 minutes.

If you are experienced skiers and really enjoy the sport I would recommend Elk Mountain. It is worth the drive if you want the experience.

If you have children, I have found Tanglwood to be a great family ski area. My children and I have enjoyed it for years. Welcome to tanglwood Ski Area & Winter Park
