Scranton or Wilkes-Barre or any place in between are much cheaper to live than national average and ae very close to I-84 and I-380 the four lane connection to Tobyhanna. More than 1/2 of depot employees live in Luzerne or Lackawanna Counties. You must be leqaving Indiantown Gap? I moved from the Poconos to Annville. Big change in terrain and culture. Poconos are bedroom community for NJ & NY. Lebanon County, as you are aware, is still farm country, I mean endless corn fields populated by those who have lived here for generations. I call them the 'landed gentry.'

Default Young Children

MollyMe, I'm originally from NY also and have been here for 9 months. I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old and live in the Milford area. What activities are there for them during the week when the older children are at school.

Izzy,
One day I shall! I was just wondering what I may expect to find? Do you know of the changes that have taken place since it was sold?

Hi Molly,
I am a 66 year old single woman and would like to live in a lake community where there is fishing, swimming etc. Pike county is my first choice because of the location to my family. Can you give me some input into the lake communities in Pike. I know some are nicer than others. Would like some activities.
Thank you.

The Pocono Wood carvers will be there on Nov. 24th and have items for sale.
These are unique one of a kind things, Santas, plates, pens, bears, wildlife.
Skytop is an asset to the Poconos and has a wonderful reputation.

Not sure where you live. but if you are near East stroudsburg check out the roller rink www.bigwheel.com there are 2 days a week for kids under 6, loads of fun just bring your ride on toy/stroller or just let them romp around while you socialize on the rink with the other moms pushing thier strollers..fun.

Find the local townships offices they have parks/playgrouds too.
