Who is up for election in 2010?
Does anyone know what lackawanna county row offices are up for election in 2010? How about other elected officials in Scranton?

The governor's election is next year....thank God no more Rendell. Also, Paul Kanjorski's seat in congress is up for election next year and Lackawanna County commissioner Corey O'Brien is running against him in the primary. If anything could make me want to vote for Kanjorski, its that clown O'Brien running against him.

There are 3 open seats on Scranton City Council, also the mayors seat is open, but the only challenger there is running a write in.. he is not on the ticket..I believe there are judgeship retention votes also.

Thanks for the reply, but that is this years (2009) election, I was wondering about next years election (2010)

The smart alec answer is: All you have to do is watch who's going in and out of the Federal Grand Jury, willingly or otherwise. That would be like a living media guide to Luzerne and Lackawanna elected officials currently in office.
If I were running in opposion to any of them, I'd pay some enterprising kid photgrapher to snap a few photos and that would be my campaign material.
