Where to get H1N1 flu shot..
We should make a thread for those of us that are first in line for this shot. I know they had it at the Kirby center tonight , and on Monday.. but I am in Lackawannna coun.ty. If I don't see it coming this way soon. I will make my kids go there.. They are 19, and 20. Do you think they will have this available at colleges? Thanks for any help

No way I am getting that shot. Too new. Look at the Gardisil Shot...and now girls all over are getting deadly illnesses from it. Some countries have banned it.

The city of Wilkes-Barre was giving free flu shots out at the Kirby Health Center yesterday, but only for people between the ages of 6 months-24 yrs. old., and you have to be a city resident. I took both my daughters and had them vacinated. It's a great program, and it's free.

My husband and I want to get the H1N1 shot (not the reg. flu shot). If anyone hears about any more places they'll be given in the Back Mountain/Wilkes Barre area I'd appreciate your posting it here!

My son got it..and I plan on getting it next frid.
My Aunt's brother is a doctor with his friend and they were checking it out over the summer..He told us it really looks bad and everyone should get it.
There was 30 cases of people getting it in pa alone..these people also died. He said especially the young and old should get it.
The H1N1 is just a stronger strain of the flu. It's just like bugs every year we need different kinds of bug spray to get rid of them. They get immune to it.
We also get immune to things like a sleep aid...which adventually will not work. Every soo many years the virus will lurk its ugly head to thrive to live again.
Human's bodies change over the years...and so do many things. They already had a vacine for last years flu. So thats why they have both.
My son got the nasal spray and in 21 days he will get the booster. The doctor said they are not worried about the normal flu until Jan. Right now H1N1 is the worry.

I will look to get the H1N1 shot because after getting pneumonia I learned my lesson on how important shots were. Now I even get the pneumonia shot (lasts five years)
I think its important for young children.......there are too many dying from this virus.
