Magritte,
Im not from Luzerne, but I follow politics very very closely, I f you grew up in this valley, and you move in different circles, you get to know quite a bit,. That, along with media reports gives you a pretty good outlook on whats going on in the area. That being said:
P.P. ad Da prosecuted the dealer,
the dealer wasnt small time
PP"s judge friends set up a protected drug business
PP and judge friends were photographed in Fla partying together.
Question, Where does a majority of Coke enter the US??

You are blind if you dont smell the rotting judiciary!!

So, he prosecuted the guy? Did he do his time? Was he found not guilty? If either of the above is true, then....what?

I feel so human next to all you perfect people. Lord knows some of my acquaintances wouldn't pass muster. Doesn't say a word about me, though.
Yeah, I kinda disagree....I believe you are who you surround yourself with ::shrug::

Magritte25, you're going to extraordinary lengths to defend this guy. None of your reasoning rings true with me. I don't get it, and I don't want to.

Luzrerne county political offices needed a thorough house cleaning. Still do. More that that, people in Luzerne county who seem to think what has been going on is the norm, and should be tolerated (and in your case, the extreme view of not only being tolerated, but of being voted back in to office and therefore encouraged to continue) are numb to the reality of what is right, and how the rest of the state (with sme exceptions) really works.

Ask anyone who does business in or near Luzerne County. It's been so well known in the small business community that you'll encounter local and county shady dealings for so long, it's been the subject of jokes for years and years. For as long as I can remember.

If Peter Paul had been voted back in, it would have showed that the people welcome, and tolerate bad behaviour. It would have been a greenlight to any other crooked weasle that is thinking of running for office, or is already in office but off of the radar screen. The fact that he WAS voted out sent a clear message that not only is bad, illegal behaviour not tolerated, but also, turning a blind eye to criminal and unethical behaviour will also not be tolerated even if you yourself did not commit the crime. In other words, the people now serving in the courthouse will realize that they will likely be booted out of office if they see wrongdoing and fail to report it. That's the way it should be.

Going to great lengths? By posting on a message board? Um ok....

I will agree to disagree with all of you...LOL (just sounds funny)....

But I will say I am happy that Tina Gartley was voted in, I think she will make a very positive asset to our county...

Let Peter Paul give her one. He could give her a hug, and Peter Paul could cry on her shoulder.
