Default Nepa friends.

To all who may read this, please send your thoughts and prayers to those stationed/or living in/on/around Ft. Hood. You see, that is one of my former home towns, was married there, gave birth to my only daughter there...I was last down there in 2002, and while it may be approx. 1800 hundred miles away, people, friends, family, and our most beloved service members are truly only one thought removed from our daily lives.

I agree, I've already said a prayer for all affected by the tragedy at Ft. Hood and will continue to do so.

Spoke with my husband today from Afghanistan and we are both shocked and saddened by this news. Our thoughts are with all of those who have been affected by this tragedy. We were never stationed at Fort Hood, but over our years in the military life we have known many people from there.

The whole thing is very surreal. My husband was never stationed there, but we know people who have been. I'm just stunned...
