I second that! Since I am from the Lehigh Valley, I have eaten at Louie's in Allentown. Shortly after we moved here, Louie bought Portofino and renamed it Louie's at Portofino. We have patronized it and found the food to be the same as the Allentown location so we were happy. It is located in Wilkes Barre Township near the 81 entrance next to the Tobyhanna Depot Credit Union on Schechter Drive.

See above post for location. It is casual and friendly serving Italian classics and specialties. I would say the price range is moderately inexpensive for portion size.

I've been wanting to check that place out. Hopefully they will be there a while. That particular location seems to be a bad spot. Boston's, and Portafino both folded up. It is in a wierd spot that isn't easy to access it seems.

Thanks, Pennsynative...
Right you are, W-B...That Boston place was pretty run of the mill, and Portofino wasn't there long enough to rate it...I don't think it's location is actually hard to get to, but rather out of the way of everything else along that strip and by the time you're eating somewhere else, you remember that you were meaning to try "that other place"...LOL
