Was just at the mall today after the parade and was watching the cast members sign autographs and what not, when all of a sudden Brian was standing there holding up a Legion Of Doom shirt. He had a stack given to him for the rest of the cast, he recieved a loud round of applause for it to, just thought it was kind of funny. Maybe they'll make a appearance on the show? Never know!
For as much as I despise the "Legion of Doom" for making a mockery of the televised city council meetings and making the city out to appear worse than it truly is, I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed reading about this! Thanks for sharing!
It's truly awe-inspiring to go onto YouTube and search for either "Scranton" or "The Office" and notice hundreds of thousands of fans have grown fond of the Electric City. Here are a few of my favorite clips pertaining to either the city, the show, or both. I especially enjoyed the second and third clips, which display the characters' impressions of the city when they were all interviewed by the Scranton Times-Tribune (nostalgia just oozes out here---a far cry from the corrupt dump that others on this forum would lead you all to believe).
There are many, many more out there as well, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Scranton's tourism industry expanding by leaps and bounds with "Office"-related traffic if and when we have the cast assembled for a convention and public meet-and-greet and/or finally establish the long-anticipated "Office" Museum downtown. No, Daniel, this will not "save" the city (as I know you'd be tempted to blurt out in a reply before calling me a stupid little kid), but it will most certainly help to improve its image to outsiders, which will help to increase private investment in the long-run.
