Weekly rate hotels in Scranton-Wilkes Barre?
I am looking to relocate to Scranton from the Lehigh Valley and was wondering if there are any weekly rate hotels available in the area that you guys would recommend. This would be a temporary stay possibly lasting up to a couple of months. Bare bones is fine, nothing fancy and cheap since I will still be paying mortgage on my house in Lehigh Valley. Thanks.

I think you would be better off renting a house for 2 months then staying in a hotel. Check area realtors for home rentals. We have them here in the Hideout and they come furnished.

Check out the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Wilkes-Barre on Kidder Street. They just recently built long term suites that many traveling business people use.
