I just do not see any other way out of this now - this house is killing us. In Ireland they have flat wall heaters filled with oil and they just blend in - these floors heaters with oil are expensive but maybe one at a time will work for us.

Something is wrong with our house.... $700 for an electric bill for a small home.

If your electric heat is running on 110 instead of 220 you would be getting clobbered in costs

I learned that the hard way ,, 19 yrs ago with my first rental house ..

Wow was I floored when I got a $600 bill for electric .. I also found 2 huge heaters in the crawlspace turned up full blast ..

I dont miss those days

A 1500 watt heater draws 1500 watts whether it's 110 or 220 and will produce the same amount of heat. They will cost the same to operate.

check out rinnai heaters they make a vented model around 30,000 btu the have a 6 stage gas valve built in blower and humidifier,and filters I have installed many of these and never a complaint.they are vented models which only needs a 3 inch hole to be vented no big unsightly vents on the out side
