Oh well...

If anyone here would like to discuss this, I find the topic endlessly fascinating and engrossing.
Sorry Mag, I'm with them. You wouldn't want scum like this eradicated off the planet, I know I would. They are criminals, they have nothing to offer this society, they're better off dead. You can't rehab them, they'll just go off and do it again. So, you're against capital punishment? Are you against abortion also?

No one even suggested such a thing. Can we stick to what was actually written?

OK, but I still will have to politely disagree with you. What's wrong with capital punishment? Can you honestly say abortion is all right and the death penalty is wrong?

Some officials in the criminal justice system said the numbers confirm what they already knew, and they believe drugs, gang activity and the recession are all playing a role.

"The concern is the level of violence, the absolute audacity and lack of respect we are seeing," said Frank Castellano, head of the juvenile unit in the Lackawanna County district attorney's office.
Back on topic please.

From my personal observations about Dan is that he can stand apart and believe in his convictions. He is what we need. He can stand for what is right, even though it may not be popular. He has passion for what he believes in and can stand up for his rights. We are the government, federal, state, city etc. If, we the people do not fill these offices, the same people who are currently serving will destroy our way of life, our liberties and our protection.

There are many people that run for office and say what they are going to do, until they get elected. I do believe that if he ever runs, he will represent the people and not his own agenda.

I can agree with that Blue. Not too many elected officials are like that.

When put in this light, I can see why you believe he is competent to run for public office.

I strongly disagree with illegal immigration, but I don't know where you get the 'all the Hispanics causing crime' thing. I read the Scranton Time's Lackawanna Court Sentences column and find few Spanish names there. Here's a few samples (I cut the crimes and sentences for brevity.
