Is it even possible to have it all? Can any of the lakes handle a 22' Catalina sailboat? We would love to get a vacation home, but love our sailing. We would also like to have a place for the kids to jet-ski also. We do not need (nor want) a gigantic second home.

There are so many communities so any help to narrow down my choices would be so appreciated.

Thanks and have a great day.

The Big Lake is very popular for sailing. They even have races on the weekends and the link that Welupa gave you is a good one.

Default best sailing community

Yes Lake Wallenpaupack is the best for sailing. Once you go there, you will never regret it. We only had a sunfish but always had a blast in it. Last summer I went out on a 25ft. sailboat and I thought I was in heaven. Have fun.
