Tiffany Estates, Throop, PA
I am currently looking for a home to buy because we are transfering to the NEPA area. I have looked in the abington Heights, Mid valley, Old Forge, and Valley View area and recently came across some homes in Throop located in the Tiffany Estates area. There are several homes on Emerald Drive that are for sale, nearly all of them. After researching the area I came across the research of the Marjol battery plant that closed down 15 years ago. People are claiming that the area has large amounts of lead and are concerned of the cancer rates. Can any one tell me what the update info is on the area and why so many people are trying to move out of Tiffiany estates?

Isn't Tiffany Estates up near Mid-Valley High School? If that's the case then its nowhere near the Marjol battery site.
