Default A report card on education in NEPA

In today's Scranton Sunday Times, they have lots of data and numbers about the various school districts in NEPA. It's a lot of info but if people are thinking about relocating to NEPA and are wondering how a school district is doing as compared to others in the area and to the state average, it's a good resource and start. Also with the maps you can see which cities, boroughs, townships and villages are located or make up a certain school district.

The Times-Tribune - How did your school fare in our analysis?

VIDEOS

go to number 11 of the multimedia displays and you can access the info on NEPA schools, it has a very user friendly interface using a clickable map, although the font is kind of small

I am shocked..... I am a product of Riverside (formerly Taylor-Moosic) High School. I tried to get Old Forge to come up, but I wasn't successful. Abington Heights was considered a "good" school even when I was in high school.

Abington Heights clearly comes out smelling like a rose in this report! I live in the Western Wayne School District, which did not do well at all, but our 11th graders were neck in neck in scores with the popular North Pocono School District. It's a tuff decision, my daughter is in private school, so I don't have to worry about where to live anymore as far as schools are concerned.
