Does anybody have Broadband wireless internet service in Wilkes Bare ?
I heard some where that you can get though Frontier Communications Inc. or another company .
If this true how much does it cost and is it any good ? Thank you for any input you can give .

If you are talking about hot spots in public areas, this site was the first one I came across when googling:

These types of places allow you to have your coffee, etc. and bring your laptop.
As far as home service, you can get Verizon DSL (via phone line), or any of the cable TV companies (Service Electric, Comcast, etc) to establish cable internet in your home. They generally do not require you to get cable TV or phone, you can opt for just internet service. Cable is by far the better choice over DSL, faster and more dependable. They have plans from slower to faster in the range of $30-80 a month. Once you get the cable (or DSL) modem, just get a wireless router from Best Buy (or wherever) and plug it into the modem, and then you can have wireless internet all over your home. These routers (from my memory) are only around $60 or so.
