Thanks for the info, what would be one of the better complexes to live in. I am moving to Nova in late Aug, early Sep. I will be working in Mclean by the Tysons area. Im not sure if I should live in Vienna mclean or Tysons.

Tysons is the area where the Vienna, McLean, and Falls Church addresses converge. I don't think you can say a priori that one of those will be more convenient than the others - you'll have to look at individual addresses and distances. Sorry I can't help with individual apartment complexes.

ny2dc - my husband lived in the Post Tyson's Corner on Lincoln Way - off of Jones Branch Road/ International Drive when he worked in Tyson's Corner. It is across the street from a bus transfer station with frequent service to the West Falls Church metro station on the Orange Line. Since the time he lived there, a Harris Teeter has gone in within walking distance.

It's still not really a pedestrian friendly area, though there are sidewalks, but it can be done without a car, which as I recall was a concern for you.
