Has anyone here has had any service from either Kingstown Landscape or Cambell and Ferrara? I am getting estimates from both for lawn seeding, sod, patio, and garden. Kingstown used to mow my lawn and they charged 45 dollars and now a high school teacher does the same thing and charges 30 bucks.

I don't have any firsthand knowledge of either of them.

Neighbors across the street had Campbell & Ferrara do landscaping for their yard about 15 years ago and it withstood the test of time very well. The neighbors were good caretakers of their yard, but the design and plant choice was well done and easy to maintain. New folks have moved in there in the past 6 months and have taken out a lot of the plantings to suit their own vision, but they are keeping the general lines of the design intact.

Why don't you try Angie's List? I know there are many reports on Kingstowne there, and probably the other as well. Kingstowne has a good reputation, but is expensive - the other I am not familiar with.

You could also try checkbook.org - it's a very good source for reviews. I think it's cheaper than Angie's List.
