Default If you could have a local street named after you...

If you could have a local street named after you, would you want them to do it? Which street would you choose?

Sure, the CAVA1990 Beltway has a great ring to it.

Father Hurley used to joke that he'd wished they'd name a different street after him. He said it felt weird to watch the news and hear them talking day after day about how "Father Hurley is a little backed up today..."

Since I spent a lot of time walking it, Stevenson Ave in Alexandria should be named after me.

They could name the road to the new minor league stadium after me. I'll be there all the time anyway, and besides Caladium Stadium Ave. sounds a lot better than Pacific Ave.

I'm torn between George Washington Parkway and Georgetown Pike. On the one had, I'm a bit too curvy in some places (like Georgetown Pike). On the other hand, I have some unexpected views and these days I move a bit slowly (like GW Parkway).

Whatever they do, I hope they never name the 7 after me! It would be such a downer to hear people griping about how they hate driving on "the normie"
