That's a very low price for an apartment around here. Even as far out as Leesburg it won't get you much. Maybe a studio. For a nice place in a new building, you would need closer to 1800 for a one-bedroom. Your best bet would be something privately owned, maybe through craigslist, but I doubt any large apt buildings will have a place for that price.

marie5v, I'm wondering if you think he meant 2 bedrooms - I'm looking for a place myself in Nova area, and $1,200 seems ballpark. For $1,800, he should get a 2 bedroom with no problem, especially in the outer area of Leesburg or centreville. looking on craigslist, it shows close to 50 apartments in and around Leesburg for $1,200 or less - some that are 2 brs. Am I missing something?
