I must be really dumb, but I can't find where it says how many posts there have been.

Anyway, I have nothing of significance to say, don't know how to post neat things like the birds or bananas, but I'm trying to help get to 100,000.

Go Northern Virginia!!

If you go to the Virginia forum, you'll see a box at the top of the page with links to all the subforums. That's where you see how many posts each forum has.

As of now, Nova has 99,983. Charlottesville has 1462. Hampton Roads has 24,731. Richmond has 10,626. And the Roanoke area has 7,222.

Re: where to find the birds and the bananas.... A lot of the graphics you see on city-data come from the site below. The images are all copyright free and don't have viruses. They have all kinds of things in there, some silly and some a little more serious.

Animation/Smilies

...and speaking about silly graphics, as long as we're going to have dancing bananas, how about some bopping daisies.

And, just because we're celebrating today, here's are two other ways to have some fun:

You can type uʍop ǝpısdn

It's easy once you go to How to type upside down text and find out the simple trick.

Also, you can post hidden comments by using the spoiler tags, like this:

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Spoiler
To get to the other side.

Considering that we're now at 99,998 I think it'll happen before 3:00.

LOL, no more dancing graphics for me today. Those daisies look like they've had too much Starbucks. Just looking at them makes me want to take a nap!
