We're moving for a job in the area in a few months. My wife will be staying home with our two sets of twins, boys 4 and girls 2. We've found a few potential homes in Dominion, but I want to be sure that my wife will have plenty to do with the kids.

Are there many stay at home mom's in the neighborhood? Any good mom's clubs that she could get involved in? Are there lots of kids playing on the street, or do they stay isolated at home?

TIA!

Dominion is a very active place when it comes to kids. I don't live there but I have plenty of friends there and as a recently retired police officer I can vouch for the neighborhood. I can't answer about the stay at home moms but I'd wager you will find lots of them throughout the neighborhood.

Thanks Bigfoot. The statistics in Haymarket certainly look good, but hearing it first hand is FAR more reliable.

It seems like a good place for kids, so I would expect plenty to be around. Not being on the ground there, though, it's hard to tell. I'd love to hear from some moms in the neighborhood that can say whether there are organized moms' clubs or at least active stay at home moms that my wife could meet.
