I've always been under the impression that anything east of West Ox was Fair Oaks, above Fairfax Corner, and below Oakton. It's very convenient, no matter the neighborhood descriptor, and sounds like you found a great place.

You know, this neighborhood has a lot of the stores I frequent (Target, Ulta, Walmart, Petsmart) so I really couldn't ask for a better range of nearby stores!
