LOL, I'd just hook him up with Aref Dejani and his friends. That guy hugs everyone every chance he gets!

Hmmm . . . a few things I can think of:

* Run;
* Give him a $1 to leave me alone;
* Punch him if he tried (just joking);

Okay, not sure if this is a smart thing to do because I'd wonder if the person is trying to pick-pocket me. However, if it looked approachable and I was in a good mood, then sure, why not, I'd give a hug!

Of course it would make a difference if it were a male super-model or sexy girl.

Or if the person was wearing a really cool super-hero costume, like Batman, Spider Man or Captain America!

If the guy was cute I'd give him a grope in exchange for the hug!

In all seriousness, though, I'd expect most here in NoVA to react in similar fashion to that businesswoman around 0:25---smile nervously and politely, try to avoid eye contact, and start power-walking away. From personal experiences in my high-rise office building here in Fairfax County most people in the elevators pretend they didn't hear me if I smile and say "Good Morning" to them, so I can only imagine trying to give them a hug!

A few other observations?

-Why do I envision Normie to be similar to the woman in 0:45 with the beret and reusable shopping bag?

-Why does the woman at 0:58 resemble my mom?

-Can someone get me the number for those cute college dudes at around 1:22?!

-I wonder if the guy at 1:47 saw his life flash before his eyes?!

-Could they have picked a more boring song to set this video to?

-I bet I could top 10,000 petition signatures in one weekend in Reston's fake downtown. Anyone wanna challenge me?!

-Is it just me, or does it look like we're about to see some tongue action at 3:11?

Okay then it's settled! I'm going to cross-dress as Sarah Palin and try to get free hugs on the pedestrian mall in Downtown Winchester!

I think you could get some healthy hugs as well on Capitol Hill and other parts of NoVA! And requests for lots of photos!

I plan to don this attire for Halloween. I need a wig, a pair of thick-framed glasses, jewelry, make-up, and a pants suit. Maybe I'll carry a large stuffed moose under my right arm for good measure. I can't imagine anything frightening the "crunchy" people in Reston more than a Republican in their midst!
