My kids are older, so daycare isn't a worry for me anymore...and nothing against men but there's no way on earth I'd leave my kids in a daycare center where a man worked. I know all men who work with kids aren't molesters, but when it comes to younger kids....who may not be able to speak very well to tell what's going on...a man in a daycare center (who isn't the owner) is a HUGE red flag for me.

Of course I have...and I get a creepy vibe off that guy. But of course it could be hindsight and all.

It is impossible to know, really...and women can be abusive as well. I was just watching last night something about the female teachers who molested their students.

There is only so much we can do to protect our kids from the big bad world short of never cutting the umbilical cord. Not trying to be glib, but seriously, you do the best you can and hope you've armed them with as much information as possible to try to keep themselves safe.
