Hope this works. I didn't have much time and some of these were taken from my car. But it shows a little more than Rt 29.

Good photos

Hope you don't mind me commenting on what they are photos of.

* That house is on Glenkirk Road
* Lake Manassas dam
* Catholic church on Linton Hall Road
* Entrance to Saranac neighborhood (you should see the Saranac diorama lit up at night)
* VA Gateway town center
* I think that's an asphalt plant... not really sure. It's the one located off University than you can see from 66 as you come into Gainesville.

Pretty good. I out tags on the pics but for some reason they don't show up. I believe that's a concrete plant but I could be wrong. Some of these pics sure are pretty crooked. Should have gotten out of my car.

Thanks Bigfoot for taking to time to post those pics, and to Heather for providing descriptions. I recognized almost all those places as most are very near my neighborhood. The nudist sign is news to me though! That's very funny.

I agree with Heather - the Saranac diorama at the entrance is really beautiful at night - it is backlit in a pretty blue color and really something to see. The developer (Brookfield) really did a great job making the entrance to Saranac look really unique and pretty.

Yeah. Maybe the nudist camp is not in Gainesville. Just checking to see if anyone was paying attention.

Aha! That explains it. I figured I'd have heard of such a thing sometime during the 2 years I have been here!

I will say that fancy house on Glenkirk Rd., I've spotted a Hummer there fairly often when I pass by it! Those folks look like they've got lots of money to burn though!

Great photos! I like the two handsome churches. It'll be fun to look back on these photos ten years from now when those trees have grown big. Is Lake Manassas something you can hike around? Or, is there a viewing point to see it from the top?

Rep points coming your way for doing such an awesome job (just as soon as I give a few more out so I can rep you again).
