Purcellville doesn't have a corporate presence if that's what you mean. There are TONS of horse farms. literally tons. So if you will be looking for some sort of job at a horse farm, handyman etc, there would be opportunities. How to find them would be the difficulty as they go mostly word of mouth. There are a few farm handyman services, guys that have a sign on their truck and service local farms on an as needed basis, and that I would think would be a great business if you could get some clients to get you up and going.

I'm in the horse community myself here, though not in eventing and am new to the area myself so don't have alot of advice or contacts but feel free to PM with any questions.

Horses are also a BIG industry in the area. Lots of riding facilities and horse farms. Lots of breeders, and all other things with horses.

Most of the horse people seem to know each other, know the horses, the breeders, the farms. They will be able to help you find jobs.
