At least five shots were fired at an unoccupied part of the Pentagon around 4:50 a.m. this morning. The bullets shattered but did not go through the windows, which are bulletproof.

The early-morning shooting prompted a 40-minute shutdown of the entire Pentagon, and a portion of Interstate 395 was also shut down temporarily. FYI, the Pentagon also announced other temporary road closures may be necessary as the probe continues.

There was a similar incident Sunday at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia, near the entrance of Marine Corps Base Quantico.

Watch, they'll blame it on an imaginary tea partier distraught over the foreclosure on his mortgage, much as NYC boob mayor Bloomberg did when the Times Square bomber struck.

It's being looked at as possibly being related to the shooting a couple days ago at the Marine Corp Museum in PWC. No telling.

Whoops. Saw where Normie already addressed this.

He's not aiming at people, he's aiming at windows in early morning hours when places are unoccupied. My guess is it's someone who's disgruntled. Maybe related to Don't Ask Don't Tell since the Pentagon announced a new policy on that today.

Of course, since we don't know yet, it's just as likely we should "Blame it on the Boss o' NoVa."

Scary none the less, let's hope it doesn't escalate.

I certainly hope it doesn't escalate, but personally I find it more annoying than anything else. It means traffic backs up on 395 and security at other buildings takes a little longer.
