If you have never been, you are in for a real treat! This is an amazing event of over 100 carved pumpkins - not your traditional triangle eyes, nose, and mouths. Click on the "Art" on the left in the link to see what their past pumpkins have looked like. They are truly works of art.

Be prepared for lots of cars - it gets very crowded on Trott Avenue, but it's so worth it!

michgc, thanks for the info! Also, my friend told me about it just a few days ago - they have been there a couple times last years. It does look impressive - I will try to stop to take a look :-)

Are they out during the day? Could I head over there now and see them before the crowds tonight?

I have no idea. I've never been over there during the day. Note that this event is only on October 31 and November 1 from dusk to 10 PM so they wouldn't be out tonight anyway.

We just came back from viewing the pumpkins on Trott Avenue. We're glad we got there early as the line wasn't too bad. By the time we left, it had gotten pretty crowded. Anyway, here is some of what we saw. It's open until 10 PM if you still want to make it over there.

We went there yesterday. It was very nice - interesting ideas and impressive curvings. We will go back next year! :-)
