Question alexandria 22311 stonegate neighborhood
Hi,
Can anyone comment how the 22311 neighborhood is? Is it safe and family-friendly, easy communte to DC, short drive to old town alexandria?

stonegate is a great neighborhood, very safe very clean part of the city. very close to king st to go to old town. not a bad commute to DC close to Francis Hammond Middle. A great location. You may want to check out park center's townhomes too.

in the nw corner of alexandria right by 395 to the east and rt 7 (king st) and N hampton dr to the west. stonegate is a smaller community by a less busier street braddock rd getting to 395 north may be easier of you go s on van dorn left on kenmore and right on seminary. personally i would choose cameron station b/c it's bigger.

Stonegate is a very nice and safe community cloase King Street, Duke Street, Old Town, Shirlington, DC, et cetera...
