I still need a reasonably priced surveyor to do a boundary survey and stake our corners. Does anyone know of one that is reputable but affordable?
I've called a few companies, but some want $500, one wants $300 just to stake the corners (no survey), and one refuses to give a flat fee.
Thanks very much for any referrals.

I would call one of the title companies in your area (MBH, RGS, Key, etc) and ask them for a local surveyor. They have to order a survey for each settlement they do and should know one who is reasonably priced.

Thanks, Margery. Not a bad idea. (Although I wasn't super happy with the one our title company used for the standard structural plat; they want another $300 just to stake the corners, with no written documentation!)
