Default Loudounís LeMunyon calls for Amendment in the U.S. Constitution

A Loudoun legislator is calling for a 28th Amendment to be added to the U.S. Constitution that would allow states to repeal federal laws and regulations. My guess is the first to be repealed would be marijuana laws (although that may not be what Jim LeMunyon had in mind).

Opinions?

The funny part is the comments section that follows the article (which duly notes that the chances of such a proposal ever being sent to the states for consideration are infitesimal). Why are some of those folks so, ahem, angry with one another?

It's the northern Virginia traffic -- brings out the worst in people.

Perhaps the intended reference was to the "Nullification Crisis" of the 1830s?

LOL, yeah the same 4-5 people respond to most of the articles in the Loudoun Times and they get quite feisty with each other. Who knew? Of all the Nova publications that I thought might attract a feisty following, I'd never have guessed the Loudoun Times to be one of them.
