Need some shingles repaired on roof (Washington: HOA, credit, contractors)

I had to have some replaced a few years ago after a wind storm. The company did a great job for very low cost (I'm talking $150).

We had another wind storm last week and I see that we lost another patch on the other side of the roof and I thought that I saved the receipt from the company that I used before but can't find it and can't remember their company name (darn getting old stinks!).

I'm in the Bristow area. Can anyone recommend a good company to me that will replace a small patch of shingles for not an arm and a leg?

Forgot that I just found them through the phone book but I don't keep those around any longer.

Have you asked your neighbors? If not, does the HOA have recommendations? When we lived in a development, it helped that others used contractors and were pleased with their work. Good luck!

Can you recall how you paid that roofing company back then? You might have the name in an old check register or on an old credit-card bill...

Another option: Go to your closest library and look through the Washington Checkbook magazine to find their roofing ratings--maybe the name of whom you used will pop out at you.

(Sorry, haven't had any shingle work...)

Thanks both! I did try to look back at check reg. & statement but it must have been longer ago then what I thought.

Anyhow, I had someone come over this afternoon with an estimate and I'm going with it so they will be repaired soon.
