Hello! I'm trying to find out if there are any cities somewhat within a 30-40 mile driving distance from Dulles Airport that offers home rentals in the $800-$1000 range? I've found some in Stephens City, which is farther out, but does anyone know of other areas? We commute twice a week to/from Dulles so, the closer the better.

Thank you in advance!!

If you find a house in that range where you want I would hate to see the place or its neighborhood. I just don't see it in this area.

The real estate feature on Google Maps might be useful (under “more“). The zip code for Dulles is 20166. If you enter 20166, you can zoom in and out easily. The Google site is nice in that if (for example) you want 2 bedrooms, you can select 2 bedrooms and it will only show those. Some of the other sites (that are available to consumers) will show you 2 or more bedrooms. Also, much of this area is available under Google Street View, so you can get an idea of how the neighborhood looks. Good for general information, at least. Good luck

Restoner - That google map feature is nice, (and thank you for suggesting it!), but it seems to show more listings of those looking for roommates rather than regular rentals. I did look at the street views of the areas, so it was helpful in that aspect. :-)

Can anyone else help with locations that will possibly fit our criteria?

You may want to repost this on the general Virginia forum. Anything in your price range would normally garner no more than an apartment in what is considered Northern Virginia. (Yes, Stephens City is in the northern part of Virginia but not in what is considered locally to be the Northern Virginia suburbs.)
