I was wondering if anyone on here knew who controlled parking situations in commuter lots?

Short background, hubby uses the bus for his commute and I drop him off and pick him up. Lately it seems as though more and more people are parking illegally, day before yesterday one SVU was blocking the left lane. I know there are signs posted about illegal parking but who would one complain to?

Well, for one, I would start with VDOT; however, I have seen police presence occasionally in the Horner Road Lot in Woodbridge and it has always been the Virginia State Troopers.

I'd imagine you can call the Police NON-emergency number and also get help on that end too.

You don't say where but I'll assume this is in PWC. The non emergency number for PWCPD is 703 792 6500. PWCPD handles all calls for service in the commuter lots in PWC but as mentioned above you'll see state troopers in there as well. The lots are heavily patrolled by PWCPD as car break ins are common here. PWC even has a watch tower that can be set up in lots where the officers can watch from a high vantage point.
