I have high hopes with this new defense oriented approach. I hated it at the beginning of the season since I had grown used to the offensive domination from previous years.

I became a Caps fan when a diehard fan and friend invited me to a game. She has season tickets, and her dad couldn't make it one time. So when i went, I loved it! I went to two more games with her, and two with just my husband and I. She sits in level 101...amazing seats.

Hubby and I are going to a game on April 6, I'm so looking forward to it. He likes the Flyers, but he doesn't keep up on their schedule and has no idea how they're doing.

By the way I like the new Ozzy Osbourne promotional video.

Who would they play next, the winners of the Sabres/Flyers series? I'm new to hockey, but am quickly getting very interested in it. I know the Penguins are playing so I wasn't sure if the Caps would play the winner of that series first.

Hockey is weird, they reseed the teams after every round. There's no set bracket like in other sports. So since the Caps are the #1 seed they'll play the lowest seeded team to advance. If the Sabres get past the Flyers it'll be them.

I have a feeling that the Sabres will win the next game on Tuesday. But I am glad to say that the Rangers are out of the playoffs - the Caps got beaten by them pretty bad overall during the season. One game was 7-0 and the other was 6-0 I think. I took my mom to the one where they lost 6-0 and I was so mad...it was embarrassing! Looking forward to more games!

I think a lot of Caps fans are actually Redskins fans, who are pulling their hair out over the decline of the franchise under the midget. In reality, they would rather see the Skins even contend for a playoff spot, than they would even having a hockey team. I went to see a fight and a hockey game broke out. We're sending the Coyotes back to Canada where they belong.

Caps are the only game in town really. Redskins suck, Wizards suck, United's glory days are over, and the Nats have been stuck in neutral for years.

and a lot of Nats fans would probably take the old days with one great team in Baltimore, as opposed to two crappy ones. I have heard high praise for the new stadium, and that's a lot more than anybody can say about the Concrete Eyesore.
