Default Thrift stores?

Looking for excellent thrift stores in Northern Virginia, closer to Ashburn the better. Where do you make great (vintage) finds?

I used to like a place called Vogue to Vintage in Lake Anne Plaza. It's small but has interesting finds and is a little classier than the typical goodwill type of store. I haven't been there in years, though, so check to see that it's still open.

* Goodwill in Sterling (nr Big Lots shopping Ctr)
* Good Shepard (Countryside shopping Ctr). They're a charity but there's a snarky employee there so look out . . . I think they have 50% days each Wed.
* Goodwill in Herndon (used to be a Salvation Army. shopping Ctr with Gold's Gym)
* The Closet of Herndon (the little group of shops with the bakery nr Russian Tea House). Lots of stuff but very crowded, esp on Saturdays.
* Salvation Army, Leesburg? (off Rte 7 on side road on nr Honda dealer)
* Unique, Arlington (off Gallows Rd & Rte 50). If you've got the stamina, this one's the size of a COSTCO and full of stuff.

Treasure Hound in Chantilly is an awesome thrift store. All of the proceeds go to a local animal shelter.

Is this the one in a brick bldg in an in industrial-type shopping ctr? If not, I think there's another one in South Riding. I've been to that one and thought it was small, pricey, and didn't have much to look at.

Blue Ridge Hospice runs a shop in Purcellville. It's on Main Street just past the blinking traffic lights on the right side, if you're headed west.

They also have a larger one in Winchester on Featherbed Lane.
