They are repaving the parking lot so it is a giant clusterf**k, if you're driving and parking. On the bright side, if you bicycle or walk, you're in heaven

I asked one of the workers and they said it will be "couple of weeks".

I'm going to carry my 10-gallon jar of pickles away on my back! Look out, fellow Metro riders!

It's always a clusterf**k which is why I always avoid Costco.

Our neighborhood association (near Costco) says they are building a 7 story parking garage and it will take at least until Oct.

It's always hard to park to go to the post office near there too. It will probably be impossible now.

If you go during off-peak times, that parking lot is fine. The bad time will be on Saturday and Sunday when it's already a challenge to park there.

One benefit of living near the Pike. The 16 bus line for when you do not want to drive to Pentagon City. Then again I never go to Pentagon City anyway.

I always marvel at the lines at the gas pumps at the West Ox Costco. I wouldn't wait in that line if they were giving the stuff away for free!

I also marvel at the fools when they finally get their 10 cent off gas....they pull out of the lot and floor it....redlining it in every gear...until the next red light....then they stomp on it again until the next light. I think most of them have burned up their "savings" by the time they're a few miles up the road.

I have gone at 2pm on a weekday and parking is just as nightmarish.

I despise that parking lot. If they didn't charge for parking there, getting in and out would be so much easier.
