There are snakes everywhere if you are close to the woods, stream, parks, etc. I found 2 on my property last Saturday alone and had to call animal controls on one, because I wasn't sure if it's really poisonous or not. Leave them alone if they are rat/garden snakes - they eat rodents and are harmless.

And don't forget the Reston Whole Foods on Sunset Hills if you move to the Reston/Herndon side of Great Falls. If you live near the McLean side of Great Falls you will be able to shop at a Whole Foods planned near the Greensboro Metro Stop at Tysons Corner:
