Advertisements

LOL, they've responded to us!!!

I have to hand it to Koons for their response to all the internet ragging they've received for the "you are so cute" ad. The newest ad is a parody of a site that looks pretty similar to city-data (although I think it's supposed to be facebook)! It features information about their product (nice response to all the criticism that the other ads didn't have info about the company). Even better, it makes fun of Crystal's squeaky voice, and best of all is wonderfully quiet.

Well done, good response, and I'm very amused that they seem to be reading us and responding to us.

The "quietness" is an improvement, but they're still doing the same annoying thing of showing the ad several times in a row. A tv commercial is like salt. A little bit is flavorful, but too much makes you sick.

So, did you see it? Did you like it? I really like how peaceful it is. There's a lot to be said for an ad where all you hear is someone typing on computer keys.

Agreed. I liked it yesterday, but by today I've seen it too many times and now I don't like it anymore.

Thank God they got rid of that stupid baby cell phone voice and that scary Crystal Koons! This commercial is still annoying because they've (once again) saturated the main channels. Seems like they run it almost continuously during certain hours

While I will agree that this commercial is slightly less annoying (then again how could it be any more annoying?) than the creepy child cell phone voices, it is still played a trillion times a day. I can't even imagine how much money they are spending for this type of mass advertising on the prime TV channels. Either way, I will try my hardest to never buy a car from them solely based on those commercials....although at the rate they are expanding that might be a problem when they own every dealership in metro DC.
