New district names. Introducing: Ashdowne!
LOL LOL LOL LOL they're going to rename it "Ashdowne". Ashdowne!!!!!
Why not go the full measure and change the name to Cashdown????
In case you're wondering, here are the new names:
District 1: Sterling (this is just the Sterling Park area. The rest of Sterling is Algonkian or Dean).
District 2: Algonkian
District 4: Dean (Another bizarro one. It's the area formerly known as Dulles, and will probably still be called Dulles by almost everyone)
District 3: Broad Run
District 5: Ashdowne
District 6: Leesburg
District 7: Catoctin
District 8: Blue Ridge

Jokes aside, putting Brambleton with Purcellville and Hamilton seems dubious. Why would they do that?
I think it's a done deal, but FWIW there are two meetings at the County Government Center in Leesburg for public input. They will be April 4 and 18, both at 6:30 pm.
