I live in western FFX county (Centreville), shop there into Fairfax City.

When I lived up north I could easily find all I needed for passover. I can find some of the things I need here, but one obvious exception is the delicious chocolate matzah.

Giant/Bloom do not have it.
Does anybody know where I can find a good selection of chocolate matzah?

Would safeway/shoppers/whole foods/wegmans or some other store in the county have it?
Thanks.

I am not sure, but off the top of my head if any of those were to have it, I would bet on Wegmans.

Or you could try the Shoppers in Fair City mall, just cause they have the best kosher section in the area (though maybe some Wegmans are better).

Or just run in MoCo, or look for it online.

I just bought some last week at Harris Teeter... some of the pieces were broken, but it's there in their Passover section.

The Giant in Vienna is well-stocked for Passover. I have never seen them with so many differrent items. I said to my mom that these items must have been meant for the Rockville store. :-) There were at least two different kinds of chocolate-covered matzoh there - maybe three. This is the one on 123 iin the Town of Vienna.

One more thing - I like chocolate covered matzoh, too. Even better than the store-bought ones are the ones I make myself. I just melt chocolate chips and dip the matzoh in, and put on wax paper. The Magruder's in Vienna has Passover chocolate chips for $2.49 which is a great price. Just another idea.

you might want to hit up google maps for Rockville, MD. They have a couple shops up on Rockville Pike that sell that sort of stuff.

Koshermart in Rockville has a ton of Passover supplies. If you hit the beltway at the right time, the drive isn't bad.

So Wegmans/Harris Teeter in Fairfaix or Giant in Vienna are the best places?

I'd rather NOT go to Rockville.

I was at Wegmans (Dulles) yesterday - they have several varieties (chocolate, dark chocolate, chocolate raspberry, chocolate mint).

I was at the Giant in Annandale the other day, and was surprised to see that they had chocolate matzoh too.
